तौ हि वीरौ महेष्वासौ मदर्थे कुरुसत्तमौ । भीष्मद्रोणौ हतीौ श्रुत्वा नार्थो वै जीवितेड्सति
tau hi vīrau maheṣvāsau madarthe kurusattamau | bhīṣmadroṇau hatāv śrutvā nārtho vai jīvite 'sti ||
ଧୃତରାଷ୍ଟ୍ର କହିଲେ—କୁରୁଶ୍ରେଷ୍ଠ ମହାଧନୁର୍ଧର ସେଇ ଦୁଇ ବୀର ଭୀଷ୍ମ ଓ ଦ୍ରୋଣ ମୋ ପାଇଁ ହତ ହୋଇଛନ୍ତି ବୋଲି ଶୁଣି, ଏହି ଅଧମ ଜୀବନକୁ ଧାରଣ କରିବାରେ ଏବେ କୌଣସି ପ୍ରୟୋଜନ ନାହିଁ।
