एष कर्णो रणे जित्वा पञज्चालान् पाण्डुसृञ्जयान् । दिशो विप्रेक्षते सर्वास्त्वदर्थमिति मे मति:,“यह कर्ण रणभूमिमें पांचालों, पाण्डवों और सूंजयोंको जीतकर अब तुम्हें परास्त करनेके लिये सारी दिशाओंमें दृष्टिपात कर रहा है; ऐसा मेरा मत है
eṣa karṇo raṇe jitvā pañcālān pāṇḍusṛñjayān | diśo viprekṣate sarvāstvadartham iti me matiḥ ||
ସଞ୍ଜୟ କହିଲେ—ଏହି କର୍ଣ୍ଣ ରଣରେ ପାଞ୍ଚାଳ ଓ ପାଣ୍ଡୁ–ସୃଞ୍ଜୟମାନଙ୍କୁ ଜିତି, ଏବେ ତୁମକୁ ଲକ୍ଷ୍ୟ କରି ସମସ୍ତ ଦିଗକୁ ଦୃଷ୍ଟି ପାତ କରୁଛି; ଏହା ମୋର ମତ।
