अर्जुनस्य शीघ्रप्रयाणं भीम-शकुनियुद्धं च

न च कर्ण रणे शक्ता जेतुमन्ये महारथा: । जानीते हि भवान् कर्ण वीर्यवन्तं पराक्रमे,“जनार्दन! आप तो जानते ही हैं कि कर्ण कितना बलवान् तथा पराक्रम प्रकट करनेमें समर्थ है। अतः रणभूमिमें दूसरे महारथी उसे जीत नहीं सकते हैं
na ca karṇa raṇe śaktā jetum anye mahārathāḥ | jānīte hi bhavān karṇa vīryavantaṃ parākrame ||
ସଞ୍ଜୟ କହିଲେ—ରଣରେ ଅନ୍ୟ ମହାରଥୀମାନେ କର୍ଣ୍ଣଙ୍କୁ ଜିତିବାକୁ ସମର୍ଥ ନୁହନ୍ତି। ହେ ଜନାର୍ଦନ! କର୍ଣ୍ଣ କେତେ ବଳବାନ ଓ ପରାକ୍ରମ ପ୍ରଦର୍ଶନରେ କେତେ ସମର୍ଥ, ଆପଣ ଭଲଭାବେ ଜାଣନ୍ତି; ତେଣୁ ରଣଭୂମିରେ ଅନ୍ୟ ମହାରଥୀମାନେ ତାଙ୍କୁ ପରାଜିତ କରିପାରିବେ ନାହିଁ।
