अर्जुनस्य शीघ्रप्रयाणं भीम-शकुनियुद्धं च

भीमसेनस्तत: कर्ण विहाय रथसत्तमम् | प्रययौ कौरवं सैन्यं कक्षमग्निरिव ज्वलन्,तब भीमसेनने भी रथियोंमें श्रेष्ठ कर्णको छोड़कर जैसे आग घास-फूँसको जलाती है, उसी प्रकार कौरव-सेनाको दग्ध करनेके लिये उसपर आक्रमण किया
bhīmasenas tataḥ karṇa vihāya rathasattamam | prayayau kauravaṃ sainyaṃ kakṣam agnir iva jvalan |
ସଞ୍ଜୟ କହିଲେ—ତାପରେ ଭୀମସେନ ରଥଶ୍ରେଷ୍ଠ କର୍ଣ୍ଣକୁ ଛାଡ଼ି କୌରବ ସେନା ଉପରେ ଅଗ୍ରସର ହେଲେ; ସେ ଯେନେ ଶୁଖିଲା ଝାଡ଼-ଘାସକୁ ଦହନ କରୁଥିବା ଅଗ୍ନି ପରି ଜ୍ୱଳିଥିଲେ।
