विजित्य च रिपून् सर्वान् गुणान् प्राप्पसि पुष्कलान् | महेश्वरने कहा--राम! तुम मेरी आज्ञासे जाओ। निश्चय ही देवशत्रुओंका संहार करोगे। उन समस्त वैरियोंपर विजय पाकर प्रचुर गुण प्राप्त कर लोगे
vijitya ca ripūn sarvān guṇān prāpsyasi puṣkalān |
ମହେଶ୍ୱର କହିଲେ—‘ରାମ! ମୋ ଆଜ୍ଞାରେ ତୁମେ ଯାଅ। ନିଶ୍ଚୟ ଦେବଶତ୍ରୁମାନଙ୍କୁ ସଂହାର କରିବ। ସେ ସମସ୍ତ ବୈରୀଙ୍କୁ ଜୟ କରି ପ୍ରଚୁର ଗୁଣ ଲାଭ କରିବ।’
महेश्वर उवाच
Victory undertaken under rightful divine injunction is framed not merely as conquest but as a means to acquire puṇya-like merit and guṇa—ethical excellence—linking martial success with moral cultivation and responsibility.
Maheśvara issues an authoritative command to proceed against enemies; he foretells certain victory and the consequent attainment of abundant virtues, presenting the coming conflict as divinely sanctioned and purpose-driven.
