कर्णेन युधिष्ठिरानीकविदारणम् / Karṇa’s Breach of Yudhiṣṭhira’s Battle-Line
एतस्मिन्नेव काले तु दैत्या हासन् महाबला: । तैस्तदा दर्पमोहाद्यैरबा ध्यन्त दिवौकस:,इन्हीं दिनोंकी बात है, दैत्यलोग महान् बलसे सम्पन्न हो गये थे। वे दर्प और मोह आदिके वशीभूत हो उस समय देवताओंको सताने लगे
etasminn eva kāle tu daityā hāsan mahābalāḥ | tais tadā darpamohādyair abādhyanta divaukasaḥ ||
ସେହି ସମୟରେ ଦୈତ୍ୟମାନେ ଅତ୍ୟନ୍ତ ବଳବାନ ହୋଇ ବିଜୟହାସ କରିଲେ। ତାପରେ ଦର୍ପ, ମୋହ ଆଦି ଦୋଷର ବଶୀଭୂତ ହୋଇ ସେମାନେ ସ୍ୱର୍ଗବାସୀମାନଙ୍କୁ ପୀଡ଼ା ଦେବାକୁ ଲାଗିଲେ।
