Droṇa-parva Adhyāya 96: Sātyaki’s Line-Penetration, Encirclement, and Advance toward Arjuna
संजय उवाच एवमुकक््त्वा ततो द्रोणस्तव पुत्र॑ महाद्युतिम् । पुनरेव वच: प्राह शनैराचार्यपुजड्रव:,संजय कहते हैं--महाराज! वहाँ आपके महातेजस्वी पुत्रसे यह प्रसंग सुनाकर आचार्यशिरोमणि द्रोणने पुनः धीरेसे यह बात कही--
sañjaya uvāca evam uktvā tato droṇas tava putraṁ mahādyutim | punar eva vacaḥ prāha śanair ācārya-pūjitaḥ ||
ସଞ୍ଜୟ କହିଲେ—ଏପରି କହି, ଆଚାର୍ୟରୂପେ ପୂଜିତ ଦ୍ରୋଣ ତୋର ମହାଦ୍ୟୁତିମାନ ପୁତ୍ରଙ୍କୁ ପୁନର୍ବାର ଧୀରେ ଧୀରେ ଏହି କଥା କହିଲେ।
संजय उवाच
Even in the midst of warfare, counsel should be delivered with restraint and deliberation; the verse highlights the ethical gravity of a teacher’s guidance and the responsibility of a leader to listen carefully.
Sanjaya reports that Drona, after finishing a prior statement, again speaks to Dhritarashtra’s son (Duryodhana), doing so quietly and carefully—signalling a serious, strategic, and morally weighty instruction.
