सर्वेणावश्यमर्तव्यं जातेन सरितां वरे । 'सरिताओंमें श्रेष्ठ पर्णाशे! मनुष्य किसी प्रकार भी अमर नहीं हो सकता। जिन लोगोंने यहाँ जन्म लिया है, उनकी मृत्यु अवश्यम्भावी है

Transliteration

sarveṇāvaśyam artavyaṃ jātena saritāṃ vare |

Translation

ସଞ୍ଜୟ କହିଲେ—“ହେ ସରିତାମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ଶ୍ରେଷ୍ଠେ! ଯେ ଜନ୍ମ ନେଇଛି, ସେ ନିଶ୍ଚୟ ମରିବ; ଏହି ଲୋକରେ ମନୁଷ୍ୟ କୌଣସି ପ୍ରକାରେ ଅମର ହୋଇପାରେ ନାହିଁ। ଯେମାନେ ଏଠାରେ ଜନ୍ମ ନେଇଛନ୍ତି, ସେମାନଙ୍କର ମୃତ୍ୟୁ ନିଶ୍ଚିତ।”
