न यस्य विजयाकाडूभक्षी विषयं प्राप्प जीवति । यं द्ौन जहत: शब्दौ जीवमानं कदाचन

Transliteration

na yasya vijayākāṅkṣī viṣayaṁ prāpya jīvati | yaṁ droṇo jahataḥ śabdau jīvamānaṁ kadācana ||

Translation

ଧୃତରାଷ୍ଟ୍ର କହିଲେ— ଯେ ଇଚ୍ଛିତ ବିଷୟ ପାଇଲା ପରେ ମଧ୍ୟ ବିଜୟାକାଂକ୍ଷାର ଭୁଖରେ ଜୀବନ ଯାପନ କରେ ନାହିଁ, ସେହି ପୁରୁଷକୁ ଦ୍ରୋଣ ତାହା ଜୀବିତ ଥିବା ପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ କେବେ ଛାଡ଼ନ୍ତି ନାହିଁ; ଜୀବମାନ ଥିବାବେଳେ କଦାପି ପରିତ୍ୟାଗ କରନ୍ତି ନାହିଁ।
