ततः शतसहस््राणि योधानामनिवर्तिनाम्‌ । व्यवस्थितानि सर्वाणि शकटे मुखरक्षिणाम्‌,तत्पश्चात्‌ युद्धमें पीठ न दिखानेवाले एक लाख योद्धा खड़े हुए थे। वे सबके सब शकटणव्यूहके प्रमुख भागकी रक्षाके लिये नियुक्त थे

Transliteration

tataḥ śatasahasrāṇi yodhānām anivartinām | vyavasthitāni sarvāṇi śakaṭe mukharakṣiṇām ||

Translation

ତାପରେ ପଛୁଆ ହେବାକୁ ଅସ୍ୱୀକାର କରୁଥିବା ଏକ ଲକ୍ଷ ଯୋଦ୍ଧା ଶ୍ରେଣୀବଦ୍ଧ ହୋଇ ଦଣ୍ଡାୟମାନ ହେଲେ। ସେମାନେ ସମସ୍ତେ ଶକଟ-ବ୍ୟୂହର ଅଗ୍ରମୁଖ ରକ୍ଷା ପାଇଁ ନିଯୁକ୍ତ ଥିଲେ।
