Droṇasya raudra-prayogaḥ
Droṇa’s intensified assault and the Pāṇḍava response
कुरुपाण्डवसैन्यानां शब्देनापूरयज्जगत् । तदनन्तर एक-दूसरेके वधकी इच्छावाले कौरवों तथा पाण्डवोंकी सेनाओंमें भयंकर युद्ध होने लगा और उनके कोलाहलसे सारा जगत् व्याप्त हो गया
kuru-pāṇḍava-sainyānāṃ śabdenāpūrayaj jagat | tadanantaraṃ paraspara-vadha-icchāvāle kauravāṇāṃ tathā pāṇḍavānāṃ senāsu bhayaṅkaraṃ yuddhaṃ babhūva, teṣāṃ kolāhalena ca sarvaṃ jagad vyāptam abhavat |
ସଞ୍ଜୟ କହିଲେ—କୁରୁ ଓ ପାଣ୍ଡବ ସେନାମାନଙ୍କ ଗର୍ଜନରେ ସାରା ଜଗତ୍ ପୂରିଗଲା। ତାପରେ ପରସ୍ପର ବଧର ଇଚ୍ଛାରେ କୌରବ ଓ ପାଣ୍ଡବ ବଳମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ଭୟଙ୍କର ଯୁଦ୍ଧ ଆରମ୍ଭ ହେଲା, ଏବଂ ସେମାନଙ୍କ କୋଲାହଳରେ ମନେହେଲା ସମଗ୍ର ପୃଥିବୀ ବ୍ୟାପିଗଲା।
