हिमावदातान् यः सिंहान् नखदंष्टायुधान् बली । निर्वीर्यास्तरसा कृत्वा विचकर्ष बबन्ध च

ନାରଦ କହିଲେ—ନଖ ଓ ଦଂଷ୍ଟ୍ରାକୁ ଆୟୁଧ କରିଥିବା ହିମସଦୃଶ ଧବଳ ସିଂହମାନଙ୍କୁ ମଧ୍ୟ ସେ ବଳବାନ ନିଜ ବେଗରେ ନିର୍ବଳ କରିଦେଉଥିଲେ; ଟାଣି ଆଣି ବାନ୍ଧି ଦେଉଥିଲେ।
नारद उवाच
Strength is ethically meaningful when it can subdue and restrain destructive power; mastery includes the capacity to bind and control rather than merely destroy.
Nārada describes a mighty figure overpowering fierce, snow-white lions—whose natural weapons are claws and fangs—rendering them helpless, dragging them, and binding them.
