ततो द्रोण: कृप: कर्णो द्रौणी राजा जयद्रथ:ः
tato droṇaḥ kṛpaḥ karṇo drauṇī rājā jayadrathaḥ
ସଞ୍ଜୟ କହିଲେ—ତାପରେ ଦ୍ରୋଣ, କୃପ, କର୍ଣ୍ଣ, ଦ୍ରୋଣପୁତ୍ର (ଅଶ୍ୱତ୍ଥାମା) ଏବଂ ରାଜା ଜୟଦ୍ରଥ ଏକତ୍ର ହେଲେ; କୌରବ ପକ୍ଷର ମୁଖ୍ୟ ଯୋଦ୍ଧାମାନଙ୍କ ଏହି ସମାବେଶରେ ଯୁଦ୍ଧର ଗତି ନିର୍ଣ୍ଣାୟକ ଓ ଧର୍ମ-ସଙ୍କଟପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ଭାବେ ଆହୁରି ତୀବ୍ର ହେଲା।
