Transliteration

tataḥ punar dakṣiṇataḥ saṅgrāmaś citrayodhinām

Translation

ସଞ୍ଜୟ କହିଲେ—ତାପରେ ପୁଣି ଦକ୍ଷିଣ ଦିଗରେ ବିଚିତ୍ର ଓ ପ୍ରଖର ପରାକ୍ରମଶାଳୀ ଯୋଧାମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ଭୟଙ୍କର ସଙ୍ଗ୍ରାମ ଉଦ୍ଭବ ହେଲା। ଏହା ଦେଖାଇଲା ଯେ ଯୁଦ୍ଧର ଧାରା ଏକ ଦିଗରୁ ଅନ୍ୟ ଦିଗକୁ ସରୁଥିଲା ଏବଂ ସମସ୍ତ ପକ୍ଷକୁ ନିରନ୍ତର ରଣଧର୍ମର କଠୋରତା ଓ ନୈତିକ ଚାପରେ ଆଉ ଗଭୀରକୁ ଟାଣିନେଉଥିଲା।
