ज्वलन्तं शूलमुद्रम्य यां दिशं प्रतिपद्यते । तस्यां दिशि विदीर्यन्ते शत्रवों मे महामुने,महामुने! वे जलता हुआ शूल हाथमें लेकर जिस ओर जाते उसी दिशामें मेरे शत्रु विदीर्ण हो जाते थे

Transliteration

arjuna uvāca | jvalantaṁ śūlam udyamya yāṁ diśaṁ pratipadyate | tasyāṁ diśi vidīryante śatravo me mahāmune ||

Translation

ଅର୍ଜୁନ କହିଲେ—ହେ ମହାମୁନେ! ସେ ଜ୍ୱଳନ୍ତ ଶୂଳ ଉଠାଇ ଯେ ଦିଗକୁ ଅଗ୍ରସର ହୁଏ, ସେଇ ଦିଗରେ ମୋର ଶତ୍ରୁମାନେ ଭିଦୀର୍ଣ୍ଣ ହୋଇ ଚୁର୍ଣ୍ଣବିଚୁର୍ଣ୍ଣ ହୋଇଯାଆନ୍ତି। ତାଙ୍କ ସହ ଚଳିଥିବା ସେ ଅପ୍ରତିହତ ଶକ୍ତି ଯୁଦ୍ଧର ଧାରାକୁ ପଲଟାଇ ଦେଉଥିଲା, ଏବଂ ଅଧର୍ମୀମାନେ ଦିବ୍ୟ ତେଜ ସମ୍ମୁଖେ ପତିତ ହେଉଥିଲେ।
