Droṇa’s Renewed Advance toward Yudhiṣṭhira; Fall of Satyajit and Allied Recoil (द्रोणस्य युधिष्ठिरप्रेप्सा—सत्यजितः पतनम्)
सविद्युत्स्तनिता मेघा: सर्वदिग्भ्य इवोष्णगे | उसके पक्ष और प्रपक्ष भागोंसे युद्धकी इच्छा रखनेवाले योद्धा उसी प्रकार निकलने लगे, जैसे वर्षाकालमें विद्युत्से प्रकाशित गर्जते हुए मेघ सम्पूर्ण दिशाओंसे प्रकट होने लगते हैं
sa-vidyut-stanitā meghāḥ sarva-digbhya iva uṣṇage
ସଞ୍ଜୟ କହିଲେ—ସେହି ବ୍ୟୂହର ପକ୍ଷ ଓ ପ୍ରପକ୍ଷ ଭାଗରୁ ଯୁଦ୍ଧେଚ୍ଛୁ ଯୋଦ୍ଧାମାନେ ସମସ୍ତ ଦିଗରୁ ଉଦ୍ଭବ ହେଉଥିବା ପରି ବାହାରିଲେ; ଯେପରି ବର୍ଷାକାଳରେ ବିଦ୍ୟୁତ୍ରେ ଆଲୋକିତ ଓ ଗର୍ଜନ କରୁଥିବା ମେଘ ସବୁ ଦିଗରୁ ପ୍ରକଟ ହୁଏ।
संजय उवाच
The verse uses a natural simile to show how collective violence can swell beyond individual control: once the will to fight spreads, it gathers from every side like storm-clouds, warning of the overwhelming, ethically perilous momentum of war.
Sañjaya describes warriors from both formations (wings and counter-wings) coming out with eagerness for combat, appearing from all directions, compared to thunderous, lightning-lit monsoon clouds filling the sky.
