मुहुर्महुरुदीर्यन्ते कम्पयन्त्यपि मामकान् । कौरव-सेनारूपी समुद्रमें यह कोलाहल अत्यन्त तीव्र वेगसे होने लगा है और बारंबार बढ़ता जा रहा है, जो मेरे सैनिकोंको कम्पित किये देता है
muhur muhur udīryante kampayanty api māmakān | kaurava-senā-rūpī samudre ayaṁ kolāhalaḥ atyanta-tīvra-vegena bhavitum ārabdhaḥ punaḥ punaḥ vardhamānaḥ, mama sainikān kampayati |
ଯୁଧିଷ୍ଠିର କହିଲେ— ଏହି କୋଲାହଳ ପୁଣି ପୁଣି ଉଠୁଛି ଏବଂ ମୋର ସେନାକୁ ମଧ୍ୟ କମ୍ପିତ କରୁଛି। କୌରବ-ସେନାରୂପୀ ଏହି ସମୁଦ୍ରରେ ଏହି ତୁମୁଳ ନାଦ ଅତ୍ୟନ୍ତ ତୀବ୍ର ବେଗରେ ତରଙ୍ଗିତ ହେଉଛି; ପୁନଃପୁନଃ ବଢ଼ି ଏହା ମୋ ସୈନିକମାନଙ୍କ ହୃଦୟକୁ ଡଗମଗ କରୁଛି।
