श्रीवायुदेव उवाच
The verse emphasizes responsible leadership in war: when an adversary is too formidable for ordinary soldiers, the most capable champions must step forward. This prevents reckless loss of life and aligns valor with protection of the larger community.
Vāyudeva addresses Arjuna, declaring that no one else in the battle can effectively confront the particular opponent being discussed, except Arjuna himself or the powerful Rākṣasa warrior Ghaṭotkaca—urging reliance on the few who can match that threat.
