बभौ निशामुखे व्योम खद्योतैरिव संवृतम्‌ । अस्त्रोंके परस्पर टकरानेसे जो चारों ओर चिनगारियाँ छूट रही थीं, उनसे आकाश प्रदोषकालमें जुगनुओंसे व्याप्त-सा जान पड़ता था

Transliteration

babhau niśāmukhe vyoma khadyotair iva saṃvṛtam |

Translation

ନିଶାର ଆରମ୍ଭରେ ଆକାଶ ଯେନେ ଜୁଗନୁମାନେ ଢାକିଦେଇଛନ୍ତି ପରି ଦେଖାଗଲା। ଅସ୍ତ୍ରମାନଙ୍କ ପରସ୍ପର ଟକ୍କରରୁ ଚାରିଦିଗକୁ ଛିଟିଯାଉଥିବା ଚିଙ୍ଗାରି ଦ୍ୱାରା, ପ୍ରଦୋଷକାଳରେ ଗଗନ ଜୁଗନୁରେ ବ୍ୟାପ୍ତ ମନେ ହେଉଥିଲା।
