अश्वत्थामानमासाद्य वाक्यमेतदुवाच ह । उस समय राजा दुर्योधनने कर्णका पराक्रम देख अश्वत्थामाके पास पहुँचकर यह बात कही--

Transliteration

aśvatthāmānam āsādya vākyam etad uvāca ha |

Translation

ସଞ୍ଜୟ କହିଲେ—ଅଶ୍ୱତ୍ଥାମାଙ୍କୁ ନିକଟରେ ପହଞ୍ଚି ସେ ଏହି କଥା କହିଲେ। ରଣମଧ୍ୟରେ କର୍ଣ୍ଣଙ୍କ ପରାକ୍ରମ ଦେଖି ରାଜା ଦୁର୍ଯ୍ୟୋଧନ ଅଶ୍ୱତ୍ଥାମାଙ୍କ ପାଖକୁ ଯାଇ, ପରାମର୍ଶ ଓ ନିର୍ଦ୍ଦେଶର ଭାବରେ ତାଙ୍କୁ ସମ୍ବୋଧନ କଲେ।
