दारुको<वेत्य संदेशं श्रुत्वा शड्खस्य च स्वनम्
dāruko vetya saṃdeśaṃ śrutvā śaṅkhasya ca svanam
ସଞ୍ଜୟ କହିଲେ—ସନ୍ଦେଶଟି ବୁଝି ଏବଂ ଶଙ୍ଖଧ୍ୱନି ଶୁଣି, ଯୁଦ୍ଧକୋଳାହଳ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ମଧ୍ୟ ସେହି ସ୍ପଷ୍ଟ ସଙ୍କେତକୁ ଦାରୁକ ଚିହ୍ନିଲା; କ୍ଷଣର ତାତ୍କାଳିକତା ଜାଣି କର୍ତ୍ତବ୍ୟ ପାଇଁ ତୁରନ୍ତ ଉଦ୍ୟତ ହେଲା।
संजय उवाच
In a war setting, clear signals and messages function as calls to duty: understanding instruction and responding promptly is portrayed as disciplined conduct (kartavya-buddhi) rather than impulsive action.
Sañjaya reports that Dāruka understands a conveyed message and simultaneously hears the conch’s blare—an audible cue indicating urgency and the need to act in the unfolding battle situation.
