Chapter 136: Pandava Counter-Encirclement and the Vāyavya-Astra Disruption
भीमसेनस्तु विस्फार्य चापं हेमपरिष्कृतम्,परंतु अतिरथी भीमसेन अपने सुवर्णभूषित धनुषको ताने हुए प्रज्वलित अग्निके समान युद्धस्थलमें ही खड़े रहे
sañjaya uvāca | bhīmasenas tu visphārya cāpaṃ hemapariṣkṛtam, prajvalitāgnisamaḥ sa raṇāṅgaṇe sthitaḥ ||
ସଞ୍ଜୟ କହିଲେ—ଭୀମସେନ ସୁବର୍ଣ୍ଣଭୂଷିତ ଧନୁଷକୁ ଟାଣି ରଣଭୂମିରେ ଅଡ଼ିଗ ହୋଇ ଦାଁଡ଼ି ରହିଲେ; ସେ ପ୍ରଜ୍ୱଳିତ ଅଗ୍ନି ପରି ଦୀପ୍ତ ଥିଲେ।
संजय उवाच
The verse highlights steadfastness and disciplined courage in the performance of kṣatriya-dharma: when duty demands battle, one must stand firm, focused, and unshaken—power directed toward rightful purpose rather than mere rage.
Sañjaya describes Bhīma drawing his gold-ornamented bow and remaining stationed on the battlefield, radiating an intense, fiery presence as he readies himself for combat.
