युधिष्ठिरस्य कृष्णार्जुनादि-समाश्वासनम्
Yudhiṣṭhira’s reassurance and praise of Kṛṣṇa, Arjuna, Bhīma, and Sātyaki
सैन्येन महता युक्तो म्लेच्छानामनिवर्तिनाम् । आसाद्य च रणे यत्तो युयुधानमयोधयत्,उसने युद्धसे पीछे न हटनेवाले म्लेच्छोंकी विशाल सेनाके साथ समरांगणमें सात्यकिके पास पहुँचकर उनके साथ प्रयत्नपूर्वक युद्ध आरम्भ किया
sainyena mahatā yukto mlecchānām anivartinām | āsādya ca raṇe yatto yuyudhānam ayodhayat ||
ସଞ୍ଜୟ କହିଲେ—ପଛୁଆ ନହେବା ମ୍ଲେଚ୍ଛମାନଙ୍କ ବିଶାଳ ସେନା ସହିତ ସେ ଦୃଢ଼ ଉଦ୍ୟମରେ ରଣଭୂମିକୁ ଆସି, ଯୁୟୁଧାନ (ସାତ୍ୟକି)ଙ୍କୁ ସମ୍ମୁଖୀନ ହୋଇ ପ୍ରୟାସପୂର୍ବକ ଯୁଦ୍ଧ କଲା।
संजय उवाच
The verse highlights the inexorable momentum of war: once armies commit to violence with unwavering resolve, direct clashes become unavoidable. It implicitly invites reflection on the ethical burden of persistence in conflict, even when framed as martial duty.
A warrior, supported by a large contingent of unretreating Mleccha fighters, advances into the battle and reaches Yuyudhāna (Sātyaki), initiating an intense engagement with him.
