तथाप्यहं नरव्याप्रं शैनेयं सत्यविक्रमम्‌ । साहाय्ये विनियोक्ष्यामि नास्ति मे5न्यो हि तत्सम:,तस्य त्वमेवं संकल्पं न वृथा कर्तुमरहसि । धनंजयस्य वाष्णेय मम भीमस्य चोभयो: वार्ष्षय! अर्जुनका, मेरा, भीमसेनका तथा दोनों माद्रीकुमारोंका तुम्हारे विषयमें जो वैसा संकल्प है, उसे तुम्हें व्यर्थ नहीं करना चाहिये

Transliteration

tathāpy ahaṃ naravyāghraṃ śaineyaṃ satyavikramaṃ | sāhāyye viniyokṣyāmi nāsti me 'nyo hi tatsamaḥ || tasya tvam evaṃ saṃkalpaṃ na vṛthā kartum arhasi | dhanaṃjayasya vāṣṇeya mama bhīmasya cobhayoḥ mādrīkumarayoḥ ||

Translation

ଯୁଧିଷ୍ଠିର କହିଲେ—ତଥାପି, ହେ ନରବ୍ୟାଘ୍ର! ମୁଁ ସତ୍ୟବିକ୍ରମୀ ଶୈନେୟଙ୍କୁ ହିଁ ସହାୟତାରେ ନିଯୁକ୍ତ କରିବି; କାରଣ ମୋ ପାଖରେ ତାଙ୍କ ସମାନ ଅନ୍ୟ କେହି ନାହିଁ। ତେଣୁ, ହେ ବୃଷ୍ଣେୟ! ଅର୍ଜୁନ, ମୁଁ, ଭୀମ ଏବଂ ମାଦ୍ରୀଙ୍କ ଉଭୟ ପୁତ୍ର—ଆମେ ତୁମ ବିଷୟରେ ଯେ ସଙ୍କଳ୍ପ କରିଛୁ, ତାହାକୁ ତୁମେ ବ୍ୟର୍ଥ ହେବାକୁ ଦିଅ ନାହିଁ।
