Even within the grim frame of war, the text highlights the psychological dimension of dharma-yuddha: the removal of a dangerous adversary restores courage and unity, and collective celebration becomes a signal of renewed resolve.
After the rākṣasa Alambuṣa is slain, the Pāṇḍavas (Kuntī’s sons) rejoice—shouting lion-like victory-cries and waving their garments—while Sañjaya reports this to Dhṛtarāṣṭra.
