यो5न्वयो मातृकस्तस्य स एनमभिपेदिवान् | संग्राममें पीठ न दिखानेवाला इरावान् जब क्रोधमें भरकर युद्ध कर रहा था, उसी समय उसके मातृकुलके नागोंका समुदाय उसकी सहायताके लिये वहाँ आ पहुँचा
yo 'nvayo mātṛkas tasya sa enam abhipedivān | saṅgrāme pīṭhaṁ na darśayanevāla irāvān yadā krodhena bharan yuddhaṁ karoti sma, tadā tasya mātṛkulasya nāgānāṁ samūhaḥ sahāyatārthaṁ tatra samupāgataḥ ||
ସଞ୍ଜୟ କହିଲେ—ତାହାର ମାତୃକୁଳୀୟ ସମ୍ବନ୍ଧୀମାନେ ତାକୁ ସହାୟତା କରିବାକୁ ଆସିଲେ। ଯୁଦ୍ଧରେ ପିଠ ନ ଦେଖାଉଥିବା ଇରାବାନ କ୍ରୋଧରେ ଭରି ସମର କରୁଥିବା ସେଇ ମୁହୂର୍ତ୍ତରେ, ତାହାର ମାତୃକୁଳର ନାଗମାନଙ୍କ ଏକ ଦଳ ସହାୟତାର୍ଥେ ସେଠାରେ ପହଞ୍ଚିଗଲା।
