योधास्त्वदीया: शरवर्षैरवर्षन्‌ मेघा यथा भूधरमम्बुवेगै: । तथापि त॑ धारयितुं न शेकु- मध्यन्दिने सूर्यमिवातपन्तम्‌

Transliteration

yodhās tvadīyāḥ śaravarṣair avarṣan meghā yathā bhūdharam ambuvegaiḥ | tathāpi taṃ dhārayituṃ na śekuḥ madhyandine sūryam ivātapantam ||

Translation

ସଞ୍ଜୟ କହିଲେ—ତୁମ ଯୋଧାମାନେ ତାଙ୍କ ଉପରେ ବାଣବର୍ଷା କଲେ; ଯେପରି ମେଘମାନେ ପର୍ବତ ଉପରେ ବେଗବାନ ଜଳଧାରା ଝରାନ୍ତି। ତଥାପି ସେମାନେ ତାଙ୍କୁ ରୋକିପାରିଲେ ନାହିଁ; ସେ ଯୁଦ୍ଧମଧ୍ୟରେ ମଧ୍ୟାହ୍ନର ତପ୍ତ ସୂର୍ଯ୍ୟ ପରି ଦହି ଅପ୍ରତିହତ ଭାବେ ବିଚରିଲେ।
