भीष्मपर्व — अध्याय ६२: वासुदेवमहात्म्यप्रशंसा (देव–ब्रह्मसंवादः)
सात्यकिस्तु रथं त्यक्त्वा वर्तमाने भयावहे । अभिमन्यो रथं तूर्णमारुरोह परंतप:,तब शत्रुओंको संताप देनेवाले सात्यकि उस समय छिड़े हुए भयंकर संग्राममें अपने टूटे हुए रथको त्यागकर तुरंत ही अभिमन्युके रथपर जा बैठे
sātyakis tu rathaṁ tyaktvā vartamāne bhayāvahe | abhimanyo rathaṁ tūrṇam āruroha parantapaḥ ||
ସେଇ ଭୟାନକ ଚାଲୁଥିବା ଯୁଦ୍ଧରେ ଶତ୍ରୁସନ୍ତାପକ ସାତ୍ୟକି ନିଜ ରଥ ତ୍ୟାଗ କରି ତୁରନ୍ତ ଅଭିମନ୍ୟୁଙ୍କ ରଥରେ ଆରୋହଣ କଲେ।
