Kurukṣetra-sainyadarśana and Arjuna-viṣāda (धर्मक्षेत्रे समवेता युयुत्सवः — अर्जुनविषाद)
यत्र धर्मो द्युति: कान्तिर्यत्र ही: श्रीस्तथा मति: । यतो धर्मस्तत: कृष्णो यत: कृष्णस्ततो जय:,जहाँ न्यायोचित बर्ताव, तेज और कान्ति है, जहाँ ही, श्री और बुद्धि है तथा जहाँ धर्म विद्यमान है, वहीं श्रीकृष्ण हैं और जहाँ श्रीकृष्ण हैं, वहीं विजय है
sañjaya uvāca | yatra dharmo dyutiḥ kāntir yatra hrīḥ śrīs tathā matiḥ | yato dharmas tataḥ kṛṣṇo yataḥ kṛṣṇas tato jayaḥ ||
ଯେଉଁଠି ଧର୍ମ, ଦ୍ୟୁତି ଓ କାନ୍ତି ଅଛି; ଯେଉଁଠି ଲଜ୍ଜା, ଶ୍ରୀ ଓ ସଦ୍ବୁଦ୍ଧି ବିରାଜେ—ସେଠି କୃଷ୍ଣ ଅଛନ୍ତି। ଏବଂ ଯେଉଁଠି କୃଷ୍ଣ, ସେଠି ଜୟ।
