हयान्‌ गजपदातींश्व रथांश्न तरसा बहून्‌ निमज्जयन्तं समरे परवीरापहारिणम्‌

Transliteration

dhṛtarāṣṭra uvāca | hayān gajapadātīṁś ca rathāṁś ca tarasā bahūn nimajjayantaṁ samare paravīrāpahāriṇam |

Translation

ଧୃତରାଷ୍ଟ୍ର କହିଲେ—ରଣଭୂମିରେ ମୁଁ ଭୀଷ୍ମଙ୍କୁ ଦେଖୁଛି; ଅପ୍ରତିହତ ବେଗରେ ସେ ଶତ୍ରୁପକ୍ଷର ଘୋଡ଼ା, ହାତୀ, ପଦାତି ଓ ଅସଂଖ୍ୟ ରଥକୁ ଯେନ ଡୁବାଇ ଦେଉଛନ୍ତି; ଯୁଦ୍ଧରେ ସେ ପରବୀରମାନଙ୍କ ପ୍ରାଣ ହରଣକାରୀ।
