न वैश्रुतं धार्तराष्ट्रेण वाक्‍्यं मयोच्यमानं विदुरेण चैव । द्रोणेन रामेण जनार्दनेन मुहुर्मुहु: संजयेनापि चोक्तम्‌

na vaiśrutaṃ dhārtarāṣṭreṇa vākyaṃ mayocyamānaṃ vidureṇa caiva | droṇena rāmeṇa janārdanena muhurmuhuḥ saṃjayenāpi coktam ||

ସଞ୍ଜୟ କହିଲେ—ଧୃତରାଷ୍ଟ୍ର ମୋର କହିଥିବା କଥା ମଧ୍ୟ ଶୁଣିଲେ ନାହିଁ, ବିଦୁରଙ୍କ କଥା ମଧ୍ୟ ନୁହେଁ। ଦ୍ରୋଣ, ରାମ (ପରଶୁରାମ) ଓ ଜନାର୍ଦନ ମଧ୍ୟ ପୁନଃପୁନଃ ସେଇ କଥା କହିଲେ, ସଞ୍ଜୟ ମଧ୍ୟ ବାରମ୍ବାର କହିଲେ; ତଥାପି ସେ ଶୁଣିଲେ ନାହିଁ।
