Shloka 67

इति ब्रुवज्छान्तनवो दिधक्षुरिव पाण्डवान्‌

sañjaya uvāca | iti bruvan śāntanavo didhakṣur iva pāṇḍavān bhārata paśyām āsa | tataḥ sa arjunāya śaktiṃ cikṣepa | arjunas tu tām śaktiṃ tribhir bāṇais tridhā chittvā nipātayām āsa |

ସଞ୍ଜୟ କହିଲେ—ଏପରି କହି, ହେ ଭାରତ, ଶାନ୍ତନୁନନ୍ଦନ ଭୀଷ୍ମ ପାଣ୍ଡବମାନଙ୍କ ଦିଗକୁ ଏମିତି ଚାହିଲେ ଯେନେ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ଭସ୍ମ କରିଦେବେ। ପରେ ସେ ଅର୍ଜୁନଙ୍କ ଉପରେ ଶକ୍ତି ନିକ୍ଷେପ କଲେ; କିନ୍ତୁ ଅର୍ଜୁନ ତିନିଟି ବାଣରେ ତାହାକୁ ତିନି ଖଣ୍ଡ କରି କାଟି ତଳେ ପକାଇଦେଲେ।
