स्त्रीत्वं तस्यप स्मरन्‌ राजन्‌ सर्वलोकस्य पश्यत: । नाजघान रणे भीष्म: स च तन्नावबुद्धवान्‌

Transliteration

strītvam tasya sma ran rājan sarvalokasya paśyataḥ | nājaghāna raṇe bhīṣmaḥ sa ca tan nāvabuddhavān rājan |

Translation

ରାଜନ୍! ତାଙ୍କର ସ୍ତ୍ରୀତ୍ୱ ସ୍ମରଣ କରି, ସମସ୍ତେ ଦେଖୁଥିବାବେଳେ ଭୀଷ୍ମ ରଣରେ ତାଙ୍କୁ ଆଘାତ କଲେ ନାହିଁ; କିନ୍ତୁ ଶିଖଣ୍ଡୀ ଏହାର କାରଣ ବୁଝିଲା ନାହିଁ।
