रथाग्न्यगारशक्षापार्चिरसिशक्तिगदेन्धन: । शरसंघमहाज्वाल: क्षत्रियान्‌ समरेडदहत्‌

Transliteration

sañjaya uvāca |

rathāgnyagāraśaṣkāpārcirasiśaktigadendhanaḥ |

śarasaṅghamahājvālaḥ kṣatriyān samare ’dahat ||

Translation

ସମରରେ ମନେ ହେଲା ଯେ ଏକ ଦାହକ ଅଗ୍ନି ଜ୍ୱଳିଉଠି କ୍ଷତ୍ରିୟମାନଙ୍କୁ ଦଗ୍ଧ କରୁଛି। ରଥଗୁଡ଼ିକ ଅଗ୍ନିଶାଳା ପରି, ଧନୁଷ ଜ୍ୱାଳାର ଜିଭ ପରି ଦିଶୁଥିଲା; ଖଡ଼୍ଗ, ଶକ୍ତି ଓ ଗଦା ଇନ୍ଧନ ହେଉଥିଲା; ଏବଂ ବାଣମାନଙ୍କର ସମୂହ ହିଁ ସେଇ ଅଗ୍ନିର ମହାଜ୍ୱାଳା ଥିଲା।
