Transliteration

carma-bhikṣāmaraiś citraiḥ patākābhikhnā māriṣa | chatraiḥ sitaiḥ hema-daṇḍaiś cāmaraiś ca samanantataḥ ||

Translation

ସଞ୍ଜୟ କହିଲେ—ମାନ୍ୟବର ମହାରାଜ! ସବୁଦିଗରେ ଢାଳ, ବିଚିତ୍ର ଚାମର ଓ ଛିଣ୍ଡା ପତାକା ଛିଟିଯାଇ ପଡ଼ିଥିଲା; ସେଠି ସୁବର୍ଣ୍ଣଦଣ୍ଡଯୁକ୍ତ ଶ୍ୱେତ ଛତ୍ର ଏବଂ ରାଜଚାମର ମଧ୍ୟ ପଡ଼ିଥିଲା। ଏହି ଛିଟିଯାଇଥିବା ଯୁଦ୍ଧ-ବୈଭବ ଉପରୁ, ନୂତନ ମେଘଘଟା ସଦୃଶ ହାତୀମାନେ ମେଘପରି ଭୟଙ୍କର ଗର୍ଜନ କରି ସମସ୍ତ ଦିଗକୁ ଦୌଡ଼ୁଥିବା ଦେଖାଗଲେ।
