सर्वाश्चन ताननुययौ यावदावस थानू् प्रति । स्वयमेव महातेजा दम्भं त्यक्त्वा युधिष्ठिर:
sarvāś ca na tān anuyayau yāvad āvasthānūn prati | svayam eva mahātejā dambhaṃ tyaktvā yudhiṣṭhiraḥ ||
ମହାତେଜସ୍ବୀ ଯୁଧିଷ୍ଠିର ଗର୍ବ ତ୍ୟାଗ କରି ସ୍ୱୟଂ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ସମସ୍ତଙ୍କୁ ସହଯାତ୍ରା କଲେ ଏବଂ ଯଥାବିଧି ଆତିଥ୍ୟ କଲେ; ଯେପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ପାଇଁ ଯୋଗ୍ୟ ଆବାସ-ସ୍ଥାନର ବ୍ୟବସ୍ଥା ହୋଇନଥିଲା, ସେପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ ସେ ତାଙ୍କ ସହିତ ରହିଲେ।
वैशम्पायन उवाच
A ruler’s true greatness is shown by humility and service: abandoning dambha (ostentation), the king personally ensures guests are honored and properly settled, embodying dharma through attentive care.
Vaiśampāyana narrates that Yudhiṣṭhira himself accompanies the arriving people/guests and continues with them until appropriate lodging arrangements are made, personally overseeing their reception and comfort.
