Uttanka’s Guru-Śuśrūṣā and the Commission to Retrieve the Maṇikuṇḍalas (उत्तङ्क-गुरुशुश्रूषा तथा मणिकुण्डल-आदेशः)
न चापिबत् स सक्रोध: क्षुभितेनान्तरात्मना । स तथा निश्चयात् तेन प्रत्याख्यातो महात्मना
na cāpibat sa sakrodhaḥ kṣubhitena antarātmanā | sa tathā niścayāt tena pratyākhyāto mahātmanā ||
ଉତ୍ତଙ୍କ ସେହି ଜଳ ପିଲେ ନାହିଁ। ସେ କ୍ରୋଧରେ ଦଗ୍ଧ ଓ ଅନ୍ତରେ ଭାରି କ୍ଷୋଭିତ ଥିଲେ; ତଥାପି ନିଜ ନିଶ୍ଚୟରେ ଅଟଳ ରହି ସେହି ମହାତ୍ମା ଦୃଢ଼ ଉତ୍ତର ଦେଇ ତାକୁ ପ୍ରତ୍ୟାଖ୍ୟାନ କଲେ।
उत्तडुक उवाच
Even when anger and inner agitation arise, one should not act impulsively; ethical strength is shown by holding firmly to a considered resolve and refusing what one judges improper.
The speaker describes a moment where the person addressed does not drink the offered water; though enraged and inwardly disturbed, the great-souled figure remains unwavering and rejects the other party with a firm reply.
