Adhyāya 33: Brāhmaṇa-Upadeśa on Buddhi, Āśrama-Forms, and Inner Freedom

एक: पन्था ब्राह्मणानां येन गच्छन्ति तद्विद: । गृहेषु वनवासेषु गुरुवासेषु भिक्षुषु

ekaḥ panthā brāhmaṇānāṁ yena gacchanti tadvidaḥ | gṛheṣu vanavāseṣu guruvāseṣu bhikṣuṣu brahmacarye gārhasthye vānaprasthe ca saṁnyāse ca ||

ବ୍ରାହ୍ମଣ କହିଲେ—ବ୍ରହ୍ମକୁ ସତ୍ୟରେ ଜାଣୁଥିବା ବ୍ରାହ୍ମଣମାନଙ୍କ ପାଇଁ ପଥ ଏକଟି ମାତ୍ର; ଯେ ପଥରେ ତତ୍ତ୍ୱଜ୍ଞମାନେ ଅଗ୍ରସର ହୁଅନ୍ତି। ସେମାନେ ଘରେ ରୁହନ୍ତୁ କି ବନେ ବସନ୍ତୁ, ଗୁରୁଙ୍କ ସନ୍ନିଧିରେ ରୁହନ୍ତୁ କି ଭିକ୍ଷାବୃତ୍ତିରେ ଜୀବନ ଯାପନ କରନ୍ତୁ; ବ୍ରହ୍ମଚର୍ଯ୍ୟ, ଗାର୍ହସ୍ଥ୍ୟ, ବାନପ୍ରସ୍ଥ କି ସନ୍ନ୍ୟାସ—ଯେ କୌଣସି ଆଶ୍ରମରେ ଥାଆନ୍ତୁ, ବ୍ରହ୍ମବେତ୍ତା ବ୍ରାହ୍ମଣମାନେ ଏକେ ଏକୀଭୂତ ପଥରେ ଚାଲନ୍ତି।
