कर्मनाशाभावः, गर्भे जीवप्रवेशः, आचारधर्मोपदेशः

Karma’s Non-Extinction, Jīva’s Entry into the Embryo, and Instruction on Conduct-Dharma

संयमाश्चानृशंस्यं च परस्वादानवर्जनम्‌ व्यलीकानामकरणं भूतानां मनसा भुवि

saṁyamāś cānṛśaṁsyaṁ ca parasvādānavarjanam vyalīkānām akaraṇaṁ bhūtānāṁ manasā bhuvi | dānaṁ vrataṁ brahmacaryaṁ śāstroktarītise vedādhyayanaṁ indriyanigrahaḥ śāntiḥ sarvapāṇibhūteṣu dayā cittasaṁyamaḥ mārdavaṁ paradhanagrahaṇecchātyāgaḥ saṁsārabhūtānāṁ manasāpy ahitākaraṇam mātāpitr̥śuśrūṣā devātithigurupūjanam dayā śaucaṁ sadendriyajayaḥ śubhakarmapracāraṇaṁ ca—etat satpuruṣācāra ucyate | etadanuṣṭhānād dharmo bhavati yaḥ sadā prajāvarge rakṣāṁ karoti ||

ବ୍ରାହ୍ମଣ କହିଲେ—ସଂୟମ ଓ ଅହିଂସା; ପରଧନ ଗ୍ରହଣ ନ କରିବା; ଛଳ-କପଟ ନ କରିବା; ଏବଂ ପୃଥିବୀରେ ବସିଥିଲେ ମଧ୍ୟ ମନରେ ସୁଦ୍ଧା କୌଣସି ପ୍ରାଣୀର ଅହିତ ନ କରିବା—ଏହି ସବୁ। ଏହା ସହ ଦାନ, ବ୍ରତ, ବ୍ରହ୍ମଚର୍ଯ୍ୟ, ଶାସ୍ତ୍ରୋକ୍ତ ରୀତିରେ ବେଦାଧ୍ୟୟନ, ଇନ୍ଦ୍ରିୟନିଗ୍ରହ, ଅନ୍ତଃଶାନ୍ତି, ସମସ୍ତ ଜୀବ ପ୍ରତି ଦୟା, ମନୋନିଗ୍ରହ, କୋମଳତା, ପରଧନଲୋଭ ତ୍ୟାଗ, ମାତା-ପିତାଙ୍କ ସେବା, ଦେବତା-ଅତିଥି-ଗୁରୁ ପୂଜା, ଶୌଚ, ଇନ୍ଦ୍ରିୟକୁ ସଦା ବଶରେ ରଖିବା ଏବଂ ଶୁଭ କର୍ମର ପ୍ରବର୍ତ୍ତନ—ଏହାକୁ ସତ୍ପୁରୁଷଙ୍କ ମାର୍ଗ କୁହାଯାଏ। ଏହାର ଅନୁଷ୍ଠାନରୁ ଧର୍ମ ଜନ୍ମ ନେଇଥାଏ, ଏବଂ ସେଇ ଧର୍ମ ସଦା ପ୍ରଜାକୁ ରକ୍ଷା କରେ।
