बृहस्पतिर्याजयतां महेन्द्र देवश्रेष्ठ वज़भृतां वरिष्ठम्‌ । संवर्तो मां याजयिताद्य राजन्‌ न ते वाक्‍्यं तस्य वा रोचयामि

Transliteration

Marutta uvāca — Bṛhaspatir yājayatāṃ Mahendram, devaśreṣṭhaṃ vajrabhṛtāṃ variṣṭham | Saṃvarto māṃ yājayitā’dya rājan, na te vākyaṃ tasya vā rocayāmi ||

Translation

ମରୁତ୍ତ କହିଲେ—“ଦେବଶ୍ରେଷ୍ଠ ଓ ବଜ୍ରଧାରୀମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ଶ୍ରେଷ୍ଠ ମହେନ୍ଦ୍ରଙ୍କ ଯଜ୍ଞ ବୃହସ୍ପତି କରାନ୍ତୁ। କିନ୍ତୁ ହେ ରାଜନ୍, ମୋ ଯଜ୍ଞ ଆଜି ସଂବର୍ତ୍ତ ହିଁ କରାଇବେ। ନ ତୁମ କଥା ମୋତେ ରୋଚେ, ନ ତାଙ୍କ (ଇନ୍ଦ୍ରଙ୍କ) କଥା।”
