वयमत्राग्निना युक्ता गमिष्याम: परां गतिम् । “संजय! तुम किसी ऐसे स्थानमें भाग जाओ, जहाँ यह दावाग्नि तुम्हें कदापि जला न सके। हमलोग तो अब यहीं अपनेको अग्निमें होम कर परम गति प्राप्त करेंगे”
vayam atrāgninā yuktā gamiṣyāmaḥ parāṃ gatim |
ନାରଦ କହିଲେ—“ଆମେ ଏଠାରେ ଅଗ୍ନି ସହ ଯୁକ୍ତ ହୋଇ ପରମ ଗତିକୁ ଯିବୁ। ସଞ୍ଜୟ! ଏହି ଦାବାଗ୍ନି ଯେଉଁଠାରେ ତୁମକୁ କେବେ ଜଳାଇପାରିବ ନାହିଁ, ସେପରି ସ୍ଥାନକୁ ତୁମେ ପଳାଇଯାଅ। ଆମେ ତ ଏଠାରେ ନିଜକୁ ଅଗ୍ନିରେ ହୋମ କରି ପରମ ଲକ୍ଷ୍ୟ ପ୍ରାପ୍ତ କରିବୁ।”
