धृतराष्ट्रस्य पाण्डवेषु प्रीति-वृत्तान्तः | Dhṛtarāṣṭra’s Affectionate Disposition toward the Pāṇḍavas

“यदि आप मुझे अपनी कृपाका पात्र समझते हों और यदि मैं आपका प्रिय होऊँ तो मेरी प्रार्थनासे इस समय भोजन कीजिये। इसके बाद मैं आगेकी बात सोचूँगा” ।। ततो<ब्रवीन्महातेजा धृतराष्ट्रो युधिष्ठिरम्‌ । अनुज्ञातस्त्वया पुत्र भुउ्जीयामिति कामये,तब महातेजस्वी धृतराष्ट्रने युधिष्ठिससे कहा--“बेटा! तुम मुझे वनमें जानेकी अनुमति दे दो तो मैं भोजन करूँ; यही मेरी इच्छा है”

tato 'bravīn mahātejā dhṛtarāṣṭro yudhiṣṭhiram | anujñātas tvayā putra bhuñjīyām iti kāmaye ||

ତାପରେ ମହାତେଜସ୍ବୀ ଧୃତରାଷ୍ଟ୍ର ଯୁଧିଷ୍ଠିରଙ୍କୁ କହିଲେ—“ପୁତ୍ର! ତୁମେ ଯଦି ମୋତେ ବନକୁ ଯିବାକୁ ଅନୁମତି ଦେଉ, ତେବେ ମାତ୍ର ମୁଁ ଆହାର କରିବି; ଏହି ମୋର ଇଚ୍ଛା।”
