भीष्म उवाच इति परममतिर्गुणानशेषान्‌ शिलरतसये त्रिपथानुयोगरूपान्‌ । बहुविधमनुशास्य तथ्यरूपान्‌ गगनततलं द्युतिमान्‌ विवेश सिद्ध:

Transliteration

bhīṣma uvāca—iti paramamatir guṇān aśeṣān śīlaratasya tripathānuyogarūpān | bahuvidham anuśāsya tathyārūpān gaganatalaṃ dyutimān viveśa siddhaḥ ||

Translation

ଭୀଷ୍ମ କହିଲେ—ଯୁଧିଷ୍ଠିର! ଏହିପରି ପରମ ବୁଦ୍ଧିମାନ୍ ଓ ପରମ ତେଜସ୍ବୀ ସିଦ୍ଧ ଶିଳବୃତ୍ତିରେ ଜୀବିକା ଚାଲାଉଥିବା ସେହି ବ୍ରାହ୍ମଣଙ୍କୁ ନାନାପ୍ରକାର ଉପଦେଶ ଦେଇ, ତ୍ରିପଥଗା ଗଙ୍ଗାଦେବୀଙ୍କର ଯଥାର୍ଥ ଓ ବହୁବିଧ ଗୁଣ ସମ୍ପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ଭାବେ ବର୍ଣ୍ଣନା କରି, ପରେ ସେ ସିଦ୍ଧ ଆକାଶମଣ୍ଡଳରେ ପ୍ରବେଶ କଲେ।
