कृतकार्या ततस्तूर्णमगच्छच्छक्रसंसदम्‌ | त॑ं वने विजने गर्भ सिंहव्याप्रसमाकुले

Transliteration

kṛtakāryā tatas tūrṇam agacchac chakrasaṃsadam | taṃ vane vijane garbha siṃhavyāghrasamākule

Translation

କାର୍ଯ୍ୟ ସାଧି ସେ ତୁରନ୍ତ ଶକ୍ର (ଇନ୍ଦ୍ର)ଙ୍କ ସଭାକୁ ଚାଲିଗଲା। ସିଂହ-ବ୍ୟାଘ୍ରରେ ପରିପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ସେହି ନିର୍ଜନ, ଏକାନ୍ତ ଅରଣ୍ୟରେ ଗର୍ଭବତୀକୁ ଛାଡ଼ି ଦିଆଗଲା—ଏହା ପରବର୍ତ୍ତୀ ରକ୍ଷା ଓ ପାଳନର ଧର୍ମଦାୟିତ୍ୱର ପୃଷ୍ଠଭୂମି ହେଲା।
