सौतिरुवाच ततः स वासुकेरघोरमपनीय मनोज्वरम्‌ । आधाय चात्मनोड्रेषु जगाम त्वरितो भूशम्‌

Transliteration

Sautir uvāca: tataḥ sa vāsuker aghoram apanīya manojvaram | ādhāya cātmano 'dveṣu jagāma tvarito bhūśam ||

Translation

ସୌତି କହିଲେ—ତାପରେ ସେ ବାସୁକିର ଭୟଙ୍କର ମନୋଜ୍ୱରକୁ ଦୂର କରି, ସେହି ଭାରକୁ ନିଜ ଉପରେ ନେଲା; ଏବଂ ବାସୁକି ଓ ଅନ୍ୟ ନାଗମାନଙ୍କୁ ପ୍ରାଣସଙ୍କଟରୁ ଉଦ୍ଧାର କରିବା ଉଦ୍ଦେଶ୍ୟରେ ସେ ଅତ୍ୟନ୍ତ ତ୍ୱରାରେ ରାଜା ଜନମେଜୟଙ୍କ ସର୍ପଯଜ୍ଞକୁ ଗଲା।
