ततो5शनिमुचो घोरांस्तडित्स्तनितनि:स्वनान्‌ | तद्विघातार्थमसृजदर्जुनो 5प्यस्त्रमुत्तमम्‌

Transliteration

tato ’śanimuco ghorāṁs taḍit-stanita-niḥsvanān | tad-vighātārtham asṛjad arjuno ’py astram uttamam vāyavyam ||

Translation

ତାପରେ ବିଦ୍ୟୁତ୍‌ ଓ ଗର୍ଜନାର ଭୟଙ୍କର ନିନାଦ ସହ ସେ ମେଘମାନେ ପୃଥିବୀ ଉପରେ ବଜ୍ରପାତ କରିବାକୁ ଲାଗିଲେ। ସେହି ଆଘାତକୁ ପ୍ରତିହତ କରିବା ପାଇଁ, ଅସ୍ତ୍ର-ପ୍ରତ୍ୟସ୍ତ୍ର ବିଦ୍ୟାରେ ନିପୁଣ ଅର୍ଜୁନ ମନ୍ତ୍ରବଳେ ଅଭିମନ୍ତ୍ରିତ କରି ‘ବାୟବ୍ୟ’ ନାମକ ଉତ୍ତମ ଅସ୍ତ୍ର ପ୍ରୟୋଗ କଲେ; ତାହାଦ୍ୱାରା ଇନ୍ଦ୍ରଙ୍କ ବଜ୍ର ଓ ମେଘମାନଙ୍କର ତେଜ ଓ ବଳ ନଷ୍ଟ ହେଲା।
