Post–Baka-vadha Residence and the Introduction of Yājñasenī’s Svayaṃvara (आदि पर्व, अध्याय १५३)
भीम उवाच मा भैस्त्वं पृथुसुश्रोणि नैष कश्चिन्मयि स्थिते । अहमेनं हनिष्यामि प्रेक्षन्त्यास्ते सुमध्यमे,भीमसेन बोले--सुन्दरी! तुम डरो मत, मेरे सामने यह राक्षस कुछ भी नहीं है। सुमध्यमे! मैं तुम्हारे देखते-देखते इसे मार डालूँगा
bhīma uvāca mā bhaiḥ tvaṃ pṛthusuśroṇi naiṣa kaścin mayi sthite | aham enaṃ haniṣyāmi prekṣantyās te sumadhyame ||
ଭୀମ କହିଲେ—ହେ ପୃଥୁଶ୍ରୋଣି, ସୁଶ୍ରୁତିମତୀ! ଭୟ କରନି; ମୁଁ ଏଠାରେ ଥିବାବେଳେ ଏ ରାକ୍ଷସ କିଛି ନୁହେଁ। ହେ ସୁମଧ୍ୟମେ! ତୁମେ ଦେଖୁଥିବାବେଳେ ମୁଁ ଏହାକୁ ବଧ କରିଦେବି।
