Post–Baka-vadha Residence and the Introduction of Yājñasenī’s Svayaṃvara (आदि पर्व, अध्याय १५३)
आपतत्येष दुष्टात्मा संक़रुद्ध: पुरुषादक: । साहं त्वां भ्रातृभि: सार्थ यद् ब्रवीमि तथा कुरु,'(देखिये,) यह दुष्टात्मा नरभक्षी राक्षस क्रोधमें भरा हुआ इधर ही आ रहा है, अतः मैं भाइयोंसहित आपसे जो कहती हूँ, वैसा कीजिये
āpatatyeṣa duṣṭātmā saṅkruddhaḥ puruṣādakaḥ | sāhaṃ tvāṃ bhrātṛbhiḥ sārthaṃ yad bravīmi tathā kuru ||
ଦେଖ—ଏହି ଦୁଷ୍ଟାତ୍ମା ନରଭକ୍ଷୀ ରାକ୍ଷସ କ୍ରୋଧରେ ଭରି ସିଧା ଏଠାକୁ ଧାଇଁଆସୁଛି। ତେଣୁ ମୁଁ ଭାଇମାନଙ୍କ ସହିତ ତୁମକୁ ଯାହା କହୁଛି, ସେହିପରି କର।
वैशम्पायन उवाच
In a moment of imminent danger, dharma expresses itself as clear-sighted recognition of threat, swift coordination, and disciplined obedience to sound counsel—especially when protecting life and acting together as a family unit.
A furious man-eating rākṣasa is charging toward the group. A woman (speaking in the quoted line) urgently instructs the addressed person to act exactly as she directs, along with his brothers, to meet the immediate peril.
