बक-राक्षसस्य आह्वानम् तथा वृक्षयुद्धम्
Summons of Baka and the Tree-Weapon Engagement
स रोषित इव क्ुद्धो वने भज्जन् महाद्रुमान् । त्रिप्रखुतमद: शुष्मी षष्टिवर्षी मतड़राट्,जैसे तीन अंगोंसे मद बहानेवाला साठ वर्षका तेजस्वी गजराज (किसी कारणसे) कुपित हो वनके बड़े-बड़े वृक्षोंको तोड़ने लगता है, उसी प्रकार महातेजस्वी भीमसेन उस वनके विशाल वृक्षोंको धराशायी करते हुए आगे बढ़ रहे थे
sa roṣita iva kruddho vane bhajjan mahādrumān | triprakrutamadaḥ śuṣmī ṣaṣṭivarṣī mataṅgarāṭ ||
ଯେପରି ଷଷ୍ଟିବର୍ଷୀ, ତ୍ରିବିଧ ମଦରେ ଉଦ୍ଦାମ, ପ୍ରବଳ ଗଜରାଜ କ୍ରୋଧିତ ହୋଇ ବନରେ ମହାବୃକ୍ଷ ଭାଙ୍ଗି ଆଗେଇଯାଏ, ସେପରି ମହାତେଜସ୍ବୀ ଭୀମସେନ ମଧ୍ୟ ସେହି ବନର ବିଶାଳ ବୃକ୍ଷମାନଙ୍କୁ ଭୂମିସାତ କରି କରି ଆଗେଇଲେ।
