द्रोण उदाच कार्य मे काड्क्षितं किंचिद्धृदि सम्परिवर्तते | कृतास्त्रैस्तत्‌ प्रदेयं मे तदेतद्‌ वदतानघा:

Transliteration

droṇa uvāca: kāryaṃ me kāṅkṣitaṃ kiñcid hṛdi samparivartate | kṛtāstrais tat pradeyaṃ me tad etad vadatānaghāḥ ||

Translation

ଦ୍ରୋଣ କହିଲେ—ହେ ନିଷ୍ପାପ ରାଜକୁମାରମାନେ! ମୋ ହୃଦୟରେ ଗୋଟିଏ କାର୍ଯ୍ୟ କରିବା ଇଚ୍ଛା ବାରମ୍ବାର ଘୁରିଘୁରି ଆସୁଛି। ତୁମେ ଅସ୍ତ୍ରବିଦ୍ୟାରେ ପାରଙ୍ଗତ ହେଲା ପରେ ମୋର ସେଇ ଯାଚନା ପୂରଣ କରିବାକୁ ହେବ। ଏ ବିଷୟରେ ତୁମେ କ’ଣ କହୁଛ?
